Small Gods Contest Update
by Daron Kappauff on January 22, 2005

The Nexus and the creative team behind the critically acclaimed Small Gods are proud to present The Nexus’ first ever contest. To enter the contest, check out this preview of the forthcoming Small Gods trade “Killing Grin,” and then get all the details afterward.

Well now that you’ve gotten a taste, how would you like a chance to win the whole trade, signed by the creator/writer, Jason Rand? Well here’s your chance. All you have to do is send me an email at this address:, with “Small Gods Contest” in the subject line. All entrance emails need to include your full name and an email address where you can be reached. If you want to include a sentence or two about why you want the trade feel free, but it’s not necessary. Please limit applications to one per entrant (only one will be used in the contest), and all winners will be chosen at random.

All applications need to be in by Friday January 21, 2005 to be considered for the contest, so don’t wait. Get to work on those emails, and good luck to everyone. If you have any questions feel free to email me those as well.

Hello everyone, I’ve got a quick update on the contest for you.

Considering that the trade doesn’t come out till the February 2nd, and the fact that a lot of people decided to wait till the last minute to get their entries in, I’ve decided to extend the contest one more week. The new deadline for the contest is 12:00am C.S.T. January 28th. Winners for the contest will be notified by email the following week before the trade ships, and an official announcement will also be made once winners have been notified and responded.

Good luck to everyone again, and remember to get those entries in. There will be no more extensions after this week.
