New Brett Favre
In case you didn’t know Brett Favre was traded in the off-season from the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets. McFarlane has decided to put 2 different Favre figures in the NFL 2008 Wave 3 in his new Jets colors. Favre in his White Jersey will be inserted into all of the cases that will ship out, however Favre in his Green Jersey will be sent exclusively to Toys R Us. I have inserted the whole NFL 2009 Gallery below, the Favre’s are at the end.
Not much of the NFL Wave 2 chases have been found yet, but the first on the list is this ‘clean’ Tony Romo 2:

First Look: Slash in Guitar Hero!!
I don’t think anyone even knew this, but it appears that Slash (from Guns ‘n’ Roses and Velvet Revolver fame) will be included in upcoming Guitar Hero assortments!! Now, a quick look over at McFarlane’s plans for Guitar Hero, it doesn’t list Slash anywhere! However there is a few spots that are ‘TBD’, including an upcoming 12″ figure! Could it be??? Oh, right, you want to see a pic…
Ok, sure it’s unpainted, but it looks bad ass!
More Halo…
Halo figures are doing a killing in stores, with Series 2 sold out pretty much everywhere I go, and Series 3 starting to reach stores soon, so it was only a matter of time until they announced that they would be making figures based on Halo Wars, Microsoft’s upcoming Halo real-time strategy game, and guess what, it happened. You can check out all of the Halo figures planned to be release right over here.
NFL Legends Series 5 Line-Up

MLB Line-Up Switch
Well, it looks like Melky Cabrera’s demotion to Triple A recently has affected McF’s plans for next year’s Opening Day line-up at Toys R Us.
McFarlane Toys always kicks off the baseball season with the Opening Day launch at Toys ‘R’ Us stores across the country, and we’ve made a small swap involving those 2009 products.
Yankees catcher Jorge Posada is moving out of our New York Yankees 3-pack and into the MLB 23 lineup, replacing Melky Cabrera. It’s the third version of Posada in our Sports Picks series, but the first showcasing him in his pinstriped catcher’s gear.
The New York Yankees 3-pack is becoming a 2-pack, and will feature both Derek Jeter and Alex Rodriguez in fielding positions, complete with painted pinstripes never before available on these two figures.
So…the new MLB 23 Line-Up is:

Exclusive Hines Ward
McFarlane’s Sports Picks is proud to announce the return of one of our most popular NFL figures. Our Hines Ward figure was originally released in the NFL 7 lineup, and re-worked with gloves added as part of a Steelers 3-pack in 2006.
This fall, we’ll be offering the Hines Ward figure from that 3-pack as a solo item in our new packaging, available through William Davis Collectibles in Pennsylvania.

Halo 12″ Exclusive
Well, if you thought Halo figures wouldn’t last long, boy were you wrong! McFarlane announced this past spring that 12″ Halo figures would start hitting. First two announced were Master Chief (duh), and a blue Spartan Mark VI (Wal-Mart Exclusive). Now it seems as Toys R Us is getting an exclusive brown Spartan Mark VI. An exclusive Halo 3 2-pack will be coming to Fred Meyer stores in November. This boxed set will include the Master Chief and the Brute Chieftain featured in McFarlane Toys’ Halo 3 Series 1.

Halo Series 2 IN STORES NOW!!
We start out this weeks edition of McFQ with In Package shots of Halo Series 2.
There are plenty of exclusives, especially in the Multi-Player line. Luckily, they have logos on the packaging showing which store they are exclusive too! Spawn.com is advertising their Halo Series 2 Feature will go live this week, however I have spotted the mass market ones in stores now!
Active-Camo Spartan Exclusive Pre-Order
Not straying too far away from Halo, Spawn.com’s Active-Camo (clear) Spartan has gone up on the store for Pre-Order. With Spawn.com’s store being down until August 1st for relocation, you can expect shipment soon after they re-open
