As TNA claimed, he was hospitalized due to a staph infection. He was in Charlotte on Saturday and expected to wrestle at the PPV. When one of his arms swelled up to twice its normal size, however, he checked himself in to the hospital.
He spent the night Saturday and was hoping to be able to wrestle on the PPV Sunday, but doctors wouldn’t release him, due to the fact that his white blood cell count had doubled due to the infection. Doctors are treating the infection like it’s a superbug that will need heavy antibiotics to overcome. So, there isn’t a time table on his return at this time.
