29th Annual Golden Raspberry Award Nominees

News

In a time when people are scrambling all over to pick the best films of last year and nominate then eight different ways from Sunday, The Razzies show up to point out the worst films of 2008.

The biggest loser of the day is The Love Guru with seven nominations. The Disaster Movie/Meet The Spartans duo comes in close behind with six nominations and In The Name Of The King and The Hottie and The Nottie each gets five.

More after the cut.

It’s also worth pointing out that the entire cast of The Women was nominated for worst Actress, but oddly enough the film does not appear in the Worst Remake category.

And we all know how much the Razzies hate Uwe Boll (I mean, don’t we all really?) and beyond his seven nominations for three films including the Worst Couple Nomination, Uwe Boll & ANY Actor, Camera or Screenplay, the man is also being given a special award for Worst Career Achievement. However it upsets me that they liken him to Ed Wood.
