You know what would be really cool? If one night on WWE ECW, Tommy Dreamer bumped his noggin and suddenly, he was living in the past. The past where ECW was just ECW. Just picture Tommy being thrown for a loop to the point where he thinks Vicki Guerrero is Beulah McGillicutty. He could go batty on Edge, thinking it was Shane Douglas, it would be great.

By the way, it’s WrestleMania Week, so I guess I should be focusing a little more on that. I should be. The problem is that my mind will wander from time to time and I’ll wind up talking about whatever. However, with the Eighth Anniversary of the Last Nitro recently passed, my WrestleMania focus will involve the former WCW talent involved.

There’s the former Mean Mark Callous, still undefeated at Wrestling’s Biggest Event defending his winning streak against a man he apparently hasn’t beaten yet in Shawn Michaels.

Fit Finlay’s involved in the Money In The Bank Ladder Match against seven other guys.

The former Jean-Paul Levesque will be defending his WWE Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton.

The man once known simply as the Giant will be in a Triple Threat match against John Cena and Edge for Edge’s World title, a belt which itself was derived from what was at one point, the WCW World title.

There’s a 25 Diva Battle Royal which may or may not involved the former Miss Mona. I hope she makes an appearance.

Rey Mysterio (Jr.) will be challenging John Bradshaw Layfield for the Intercontinental Championship.

And there’s the very WCW friendly storyline and match involving Chris Jericho taking on Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat and Jimmy Snuka, with Ric Flair in the corner of the Legends.

So even with WCW long gone, its influence is still there as most of the matches have former members of the roster involved. Not bad.
