TNA News: Lashley Comments on TNA Debut, ESPN Rips Him For It

News

PWTorch’s James Caldwell provides a link to Bobby Lashley commenting on his TNA debut. I’d link you directly to Lashley’s site, but then you’d miss out on the single greatest illustration of him ever.

Jake Rossen has an MMA column up at ESPN which mentions Lashley’s TNA debut briefly. He’s not impressed by “the former WWE acrobat” appearing on a pro wrestling show while being involved in MMA, becoming the first person to ever call Lashley an acrobat in the process.

He even gets some gratuitous shot at wrestling fans in there, including a quote from a Woody Allen movie, so that’s nice. It is hard to argue with his assessment of TNA as “pro wrestling slang for ’embarassment to the human race’.” He did his homework there.

I can’t imagine this isn’t an isolated opinion among MMA fans, so it will be interesting to see what happens if Lashley decides to split time between wrestling and MMA.
