Trish Stratus Comments On “Disappointing” Women’s Division, Retirement, More In Interview

News

Eric Lewis of the Times and Transcript has an interview with Trish Stratus. It’s promoting her appearance at a car show, but she talks about her career with WWE and even comments on the current state of the women’s division.

One of the more interesting things she comments on, WWE career wise, is that while she travelled the world, she never got to enjoy it, which she was able to rectify by doing a travel show which will premiere on Discovery HD in the fall. She also talks about how her celebrity helped her get through customs in India, which is kind of amazing, given that she never performed there.

As far as the women’s divison goes, she says that she turned down a spot in the Divas Battle Royal at ‘Mania because she didn’t think WWE had much planned for it. She goes on to talk about how disappointing them current women’s division is, due to the glut of women and the lack of focus on giving everyone a distinct personality.

There’s more about her WWE run, retirment, and life after wrestling, so go check it out if you’re a fan.
