Bret Hart Talks UT Vs. HBK, Stone Cold, Rourke At Wrestlemania

News

The UK Sun has published some highlights from Bret Hart’s 40 minute podcast interview with Simon Rothstein and Joel Ross. He joined everyone else in the universe in giving Shawn Michaels’ match against the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 25 props. He also talks about the fact that Shawn and Stone Cold were the two guys he wish he could have passed the torch to before leaving WWE. Well, voluntarily in Shawn’s case.

That said, he’s still down on the Wrestler, including Mickey Rourke’s invovlement in Wrestlemania. He says he’s not the only worker who isn’t happy with the picture the movie painted of the business:

“But I’ve talked to different wrestlers and asked them what they really thought of it. And a lot of them told me they felt like a whore after they watched it.”

Hart also talks about John Cena (and being a team guy when you’re the promotion’s top star) and wrestlers dying young (which he doesn’t blame on Vince) in the highlights. You can find the interview at the link above (not sure how to link to it directly; you can listen to it streaming or for free on itunes).
