Doesn’t it look like Dave Batista is smuggling strands of spaghetti under his scalp? 10 Thoughts!
1. The WWE World Title is the most important title on RAW. The World Title shouldn’t be used as a prop like it was at Extreme Rules; WWE knew Batista required surgery for his arm but they decided to put the strap on him just to swerve the smart fans! It needs to be on someone who needs to get over as a major heel. Who are they trying to get over as a mega-heel? ORTON! So why not let him retain the belt?
2. Nothing shows your love for the sport and the most prestigious title in wrestling history than muttering to yourself under your breath “they have my belt…. they have my belt…”. Friggin’ Dave Batista. I hate him.
3. William Regal was talking about how unfitting it was for someone from Jamaica to be a United States Champion. Hypocrite much?
4. These backstage segments between The Miz and Maryse are golden. Easily my gem of the week.
5. Santino Marella, Goldust, Festus and Hornswaggle; The Oddities 2009, Bank on it.
6. I really hope they give Show/Cena a break before Breaking Point. I could barely stand that feud when it first started. I was very glad WEC was on during Extreme Rules because there was no way in hell I was watching Cena and Show grapple around.
7. I called Vickie Guererro quitting from the start of the program. I really hope WWE buried her so she was remembered as a hated boss so she has a chance to come back rather than them burying her as punishment for quitting. As ugly and talentless she was, she was a damn good evil-boss.
8. I really don’t get what WWE is doing with Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase. They are trying to build up The Legacy as one of the most powerful stables in wrestling due to history, but whenever they’re in trio form they lose all their intelligence! They work better away from Orton (Priceless) rather than with Orton, who’s supposed to be the mastermind ring leader. If this doesn’t lead to a split and some kind of feud, then I’m completely lost as to what they’re trying to do.
