J.R. Blogs About DGUSA, Brisco, Torrie Wilson, The Bash, Jackson, Fawcett

Jim Ross thinks some people are taking the appearance he and Jerry Lawler are making at DGUSA’s Labor Day weekend show too seriously. That’s one of the many topics he covers in a recent blog entry.

For J.R.’s part, he says he just want to meet some fans and check out some new talent, since you never know when you’ll get the chance to see the next big thing. And, since there’s a Raw in Chicago the night after, he figures he’s going to be in town anyway to call a Superstars match. He also congratulates Torrie Wilson on her reality TV success, and predicts a 14th World Title for Triple H at the Bash.

An entry from later in the day covers the passing of Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett, as J.R. reveals the times his life intersected with theirs. He also provides an update on Gerald Brisco’s medical condition, which includes the revelation that Brisco’s strokes were caused by a heart condition he was born with and not artery blockage. J.R. even puts on his MMA pundit hat, predicting that Bobby Lashley will defeat Bob Sapp in their fight this weekend.
