The Examiner’s Rick Roswell has collected some tweets from various people in wrestling about Brock Lesnar’s successful UFC title defense last night. Beyond comments from Bobby Lashley and Jeremey Borash, Matt Hardy and Hurricane Helms seem to see it as a vindication for WWE wrestlers. Matt also says the group he watched it with “popped big” for his post fight interview.
Lesnar was less happy with that interview, though. He apologized for it in a post fight press conference, which PW Torch’s James Caldwell has a recap of. Lesnar explained it as the residual sports entertainer in him. According to Lesnar, Dana White wasn’t too pleased with it.
