Alex Trevino vs. Isaiah Hill

Rd. 1:  Both fighters feel each other out early with exchanges on the feet.  Isaiah scores the first takedown, but Trevino stays calm and works for D’Arce choke early and spirited grappling action ensues on the ground.  Trevino eventually takes top position and locks in a key lock, forcing Hill to tap out at 3:56 of the first round.

Zac Bucia vs. James Terry

Rd. 1:  Fighters exchange strikes early, but no significant shot lands until Terry stuns Bucia with a huge overhand right.  Terry proceeds to pound Bucia out until the referee stops the fight at 0:23 of round 1.

David Douglas vs. Justin Wilcox

Rd. 1:  Douglas charges in with a huge right hand as soon as the bell rings.  Wilcox takes the fight to the mat but Douglas scrambles and momentarily rocks Wilcox with a huge shot.   Fight hits the mat again and Douglas works from his guard.  After some exchanges on the feet, fight goes to the ground again and Wilcox moves to side control and then to half guard.  Douglas twists his body sideways to escape but Wilcox takes the mount and peppers him with a series of punches.  Wilcox moves to side control but Douglas does a good job of controlling his posture until the round ends.

Rd 2:  Wilcox fends off Douglas’ punches and scores a single leg takedown.  Wilcox works from Douglas’ guard and passes to side control.  Wilcox gets the mount but is unable to do much damage.  Douglas seeks to control Wilcox’s arms and head from the guard.  Wilcox clings to the mount, holding the wriggling Douglas down.  Wilcox momentarily moves to side and half guard.  Douglas opens his guard but unsuccessful in sweeping or keeping his opponent at bay, and is starting to tire out.

Rd. 3:  Good right hook by Wilcox to start off the round.  Wilcox bullies forward with punches and takes the fight to the mat.  Wilcox moves from side control to mount and takes Douglas’ back but is unable to capitalize.  Wilcox is back to mount and pounding away furiously.  Douglas gives up his back and Wilcox continues to pound away.  Douglas eventually sits up and Wilcox moves to take his back and this time, sinks in a rear naked choke, forcing a tap.

Mike Cook vs. Scott Lighty

Rd. 1:  Hard left hooks by Lighty after some feeling-out process.  Lighty with a high kick and Cook returns fire with a right hook.  A right hand from Lighy knocks down Cook after Cook slips and stands up.  Action resumes on the feet and Lighty continues to press the action.  A hard left body punch from Lighty forces Cook to wave off the bout but Lighty follows up with a hard right punch to the jaw.

Jay Hieron vs. Jesse Taylor

Jay Hieron d. Jesse Taylor, 30-27 unanimous decision
