Dawson Boards an Unstoppable Train
For their next collaboration director Tony Scott and Denzel Washington are jumping from one train (The Taking of Pelham 123) to the next (Unstoppable). Washington had formally withdrawn his name from the project in early July, but came to terms a few weeks later, thus ensuring a fall start for production. He’ll be playing a veteran engineer who jumps into a locomotive with a young conductor (Chris Pine, Star Trek) to stop an unmanned runaway train loaded with toxic cargo.
Rosario Dawson joins the cast having wrapped the Chris Columbus film Percy Jackson. She is currently shooting Zookeeper opposite Kevin James.
