TOM BRADY TO BE A TARGET AGAIN

August 19th, 2009.

You won’t hear it it in the mainstream sports news, but the New England Patriots quarterback’s aging body is a prime target for National Football League defenses all over the USA.

And why not? One hit got him out for most of the 2008 season with very little cost to the player or team that did the damage. Why should we expect any less in 2009?

If one of the other 31 teams doesn’t do it I will be really surprised. The uniforms in football should be worn by baseball and basketball players. The uniforms in football need to be just short of armor. But the owners don’t want the sports to be safer because danger sells.
