“It’s only after we’ve lost everything that we’re free to do anything.”

Don’t tell that to Blu-ray Disc connoisseurs.

When it was released on DVD in 2000, Fight Club was regarded as one of the best DVD releases of the year. With each passing year it’s quality hasn’t diminished. Two discs filled to the gills with commentaries, featurettes, promo materials, and more. Now Fox Home Entertainment is celebrating the cult film’s 10th anniversary with a Blu-ray release. The Fight Club Blu-ray Disc will be presented in widescreen format (2.40:1) on a 50GB dual-layer disc authored in English 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio and Dolby Surround, Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital and French 5.1 DTS sound with English, French and Spanish subtitles.

Directed by David Fincher and starring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton, the film comes to Blu-ray on November 10th with all the special features from the two-disc special edition DVD included. As an added bonus, the BD release comes with new material, such as two interactive featurettes – “A Hit In The Ear: Ren Klyce and the Sound Design of Fight Club ” which allows users to remix four key scenes themselves with the help of Oscar-nominated sound designer Ren Klyce; and “Insomniac Mode: I Am Jack’s Search Index,” giving viewers the ability to access any part of the disc’s extensive bonus material via interactive tools.

The BD also features behind-the-scenes with Fincher, Pitt and Norton as they accept the Guy Movie Hall of Fame honor for Fight Club at SPIKE TV’S 2009 GUYS CHOICE Awards. Suggested retail price is $34.99
