Karo Parisyan out of bout with Dustin Hazelett, career with UFC over

News

Karo Parisyan’s fight against Dustin Hazelett was set to mark the return of “The Heat” after finishing out his lengthy suspension. However, the bout scheduled for UFC 106 this Sat. has been removed from the card. Dana White broke the news on twitter earlier today, along with including a statement regarding Parisyan’s future with the UFC.

“Karo Parisyan has f***** over the UFC, the fans and his opponent again!!! He will not be fighting saturday or ever again in the UFC!!”

The clearly enraged White followed that message with another one.

“Pulled out of the fight the day before weigh ins again with a laundry list of excuses!!! Let the press ask karo why! Let him explain.”

These two messages from Dana White seem to hint that he is fed up with Parisyan’s antics, and that the Judo ace has completely fallen out of grace with the promotion. To say that “The Heat” will never fight in the UFC again, at this moment, seems to be a true statement.

This is just another strike against Parisyan who tested positive for banned painkillers after his split decision victory over Kim Dong-hyun at UFC 94.

No replacement has yet been named for the submission ace Hazelett. With just one day until the weigh in, it is likely too late for the UFC to find one. Stay tuned to Inside Fights on breaking news surrounding this situation.

Update:

Dana White has issued another message on twitter, regarding Hazelett’s situation.

“Dustin will be paid his full purse to show and win. Its not his fault.”

The fact that Hazelett is being promised his purse to show up and win seems to point in the direction that he will not be fighting.
