Fantasy Hoops Waiver Wire Bin Vol. 4

By Ryan Lester, LestersLegends.com

I’ve scoured the fantasy basketball waiver wires to find gems so you don’t have to.

Nate Robinson, PG/SG, New York Knicks
Nate escaped from D’Antoni’s doghouse by averaging 18.8 points, 1.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 0.8 steals, and 2.8 three-pointers in four games last week. He shot 56.6 percent from the floor and hit all of his free throws. As long as he remains a part of the Knicks’ rotation, he has the potential to put up big numbers every night. Nate has a $4.32 million cap number in the Sporting News salary cap game, and is owned in 55 percent of Yahoo! and 78 percent of ESPN leagues.

Samuel Dalembert, C, Philadelphia 76ers
Dalembert stepped up his game as Elton Brand was out of action. Last week he averaged 9.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 0.8 steals, 3.5 blocks while shooting 43.2 percent from the floor and 71.4 percent from the line. Dalembert has a $3.53 million Sporting News cap number, and is owned in 43 percent of Yahoo! and 65.3 percent of ESPN leagues.

Jamario Moon, SF, Cleveland Cavaliers
Jamario did a little bit of everything last week averaging 10.7 points, 6. rebounds, 1.0 assist, 1.0 steal, 1.0 block, and 1.3 three-pointers in three games. He shot 60 percent from the floor and 80 percent from the line. Moon has a $1.35 million Sporting News cap number, and is owned in 16 percent of Yahoo! and 2.1 percent of ESPN leagues.

Ersan Ilyasova, SF/PF, Milwaukee Bucks
Ilyasova has been a beast since Andrew Bogut went down. Last week he averaged 14.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.3 three-pointers. He shot 42.6 percen from the floor and 77.8 percent from the line. With Bogut out at least a couple more weeks, Ilyasova should be owned in all fantasy leagues. He has a $1.96 Sporting News cap number, and is owned in 42 percent of Yahoo! and 14.5 percent of ESPN leagues.

Matt Bonner, PF/C, San Antonio Spurs
Bonner brings three-pointers to the table. He averaged 2.8 threes in four games last week. He scored 11.0 per game with 3.8 rebounds. He’s mainly useful in daily transaction leagues if you need a boost in three-pointers. He has a $$0.93 million Sporting News cap number, and is owned in 10 percent of Yahoo! and 1.6 percent of ESPN leagues.

Carlos Delfino, SG/SF, Milwaukee Bucks
Delfino averaged 10.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 0.5 steals, 1.5 blocks, and 2.3 three-pointers in four games last week. He shot 41.9 percent from the floor and 83.3 percent from the line. He’s most useful in daily transaction leagues that do not have a maximum game cap. He has a $1.34 million Sporting News cap number, and is owned in 5 percent of Yahoo! and 0.6 percent of ESPN leagues.

Jason Williams, PG, Orlando Magic
Williams has played well since Jameer Nelson went down. Last week he averaged 10.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 7.3 assists, 1.0 steal, and 2.0 three-pointers while shooting 51.7 percent from the floor and 57.1 percent from the line. Jameer will be out a couple more weeks so Jason should be a good source for assists over the next couple of weeks. He has a $2.29 million Sporting News cap number, and is owned in 26 percent of Yahoo! and 6.3 percent of ESPN leagues.

Sergio Rodriguez, PG, Sacramento Kings
Sergio averaged 15.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.3 three-pointers while shooting 55.3 percent from the floor and 77.8 percent from the line. Rodriguez should continue to put up solid numbers for several weeks as Kevin Martin recovers from a broken wrist. He has a $0.59 million Sporting News cap number, and is owned in 1 percent of Yahoo! and 0.3 percent of ESPN leagues.

Luke Ridnour, PG, Milwaukee Bucks
Ridnour was great last week averaging 15.0 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 0.8 steals, and 0.8 three-pointers in four games. He shot 54.5 percent from the floor and hit all of his free throws. Luke has a $3.85 million Sporting News cap number, and is owned in 20 percent of Yahoo! and 5.1 percent of ESPN leagues.

Beno Udrih, PG/SG, Sacramento Kings
Beno missed a game last week because of illness, but averaged 13.3 points, 2.7 assists, 1.7 steals, and 1.0 three-pointers in three games. He shot 69.6 percent from the floor and 83.3 percent from the line. He has a $3.89 million Sporting News cap number, and is owned in 46 percent of Yahoo! and 35.3 percent of ESPN leagues.
