Golden Globe Nominees Announced

News, Top Story

And we’re off to the races. With today’s announcement of Golden Globes nominees, the countdown to the Oscars has arrived. Leading the pack are Up in the Air with six nominations and Inglourious Basterds with four. 2009 proved to be a big year for Sandra Bullock, despite the horrid All About Steve, as she receives Best Actress consideration for both drama and comedy. And Meryl Streep is a double nominee for the second year in a row for her comedies Julie & Julia and It’s Complicated. The 67th Annual Golden Globes will be telecast live on NBC on January 17, 2010. See below for a complete listing of the film nominations, and let us know if the Hollywood Foreign Press got it right, or did they overlook a certain film or performance.
