Early Sunday, actress Brittany Murphy went into cardiac arrest and could not be revived. She died soon after at the young age of 32.
At 8AM on Sunday morning, Murphy’s husband Simon Monjack called the Los Angeles City Fire Department. Shortly after arriving, she was taken to Cedar Sinai Hospital where she was dead on arrival.
Murphy had starred in numerous films with her first big break coming in the 1995 film Clueless. Her other roles included 8 Mile, Uptown Girls, Sin City, Don’t Say A Word, and Little Black Book.
