On his Monday night show, Jay Leno tried to finally answer the backlash that he has been faced with ever since news broke of NBC wanting to dump Conan O’Brien to give Leno his old timeslot back.
He said: “”It looks like we might be back at 11:30. I’m not sure. I don’t know,” Leno, 59, said in his opening monologue. “But through all this — Conan O’Brien has been a gentlemen. He’s a good guy. I have no animosity towards him.”
