Super Bowl XLIV Preview: Indianapolis Colts Vs. New Orleans Saints

Indianapolis Colts Vs. New Orleans Saints

This game has the makings of a very good Super Bowl. Peyton Manning and Drew Brees are easily the top 2 QB’s in the NFL, and both the Colts and the Saints have great offenses. The Saints went into their last game against the Vikings saying they were going to hit Brett Favre, their plan is to do the same to Manning. I don’t see the Saints being very successful getting to Peyton, not only does he have a great line but he almost never gets hit. I’m not sure if Dwight Freeney plays he will be 100%  but he is better than Raheem Brock, who will most likely play in Freeney’s place. Drew Brees is also a QB who doesn’t get sacked, but if Freeney is ready to go on sunday, he and Robert Mathis will create some problems for Brees. All and all these are the 2 best teams in the league offensively but the Colts have a slightly better defense and Peyton Manning is the toughest QB in the league to rattle up, but don’t expect this to be an easy win. I’m taking the Colts 30-27.
