24 Making Time For Theaters

News, Projects

A lot has happened as things are only taken one hour at a time, but it’s way past due to put the “time constraints” popular television show up on the big screen.

20th Century Fox is now moving forward in developing the hit-television series 24 for a theatrical release feature film. Billy Ray (State of Play) is lined up to pen the script. Not much is known about the ideas that Ray pitched to Fox except that his story takes Jack Bauer to Europe.

Kiefer Sutherland is very eager to get his hit-show into theaters after eight seasons on the air. The series has yet to be picked up for a ninth season meaning that the feature film is in the early planning stages, but chances of it happening are looking better.

A good bit is up in the air and it all leans on what happens in the coming weeks with the series’ success on television so a lot remains to be seen.
