Dubbed by host Jeff Probst as the ‘smartest player never to win,’ Rob Cesternino flipped on his original alliance in Survivor Amazon at the last minute and dragged original targets Matt, Butch and Christy a lot farther than they were supposed to get against the Jenna/Heidi/Alex stronghold that believed that they had the game completely figured out. Rob was the quintessential Survivor fan who watched the show at home and dominated it when he was given the chance to play. I initially heard about his domination from Jeff Varner who told me that there was a ‘younger Richard Hatch’ that was playing in the Amazon. He was right.
