After The CW announced the renewals of five shows that did not include Melrose Place, fans of the remake wondered about the show’s future.
Unfortunately, recent comments from CW President Dawn Ostroff at a recent event did not look promising.
“We hope Melrose Place picks up steam. We’re gonna air all the episodes in a row. We’ve made the show a little bit lighter, a little happier, a little brighter, and I think we’ve made some good creative changes. We’re going to see how the audience responds.”
Translation: Unless ratings improve dramatically, the show is finished.
