It appears that last week’s Jack-centric episode was a major foreshadow of how Lost will finally conclude.
At the recent Paley Festival, producer Carlton Cuse said:
“We have two timelines we’re exploring simultaneously, and when the audience understands how those two timelines connect, hopefully it will provide a satisfaction that will make you happy and give you what you want but not in the way you want it.”
It is being reported that we should plan on seeing more of Jack’s two timelines this season and that could be the link to explain everything.
