Tyler Stout-Illustrated Official Poster Unveiled for Best Worst Movie

News

Those that have dared enter my apartment know that I love movie posters. My walls are lined with them — at last count, at least 20 framed posters reside on my walls.

I won’t frame and hang just any poster, though. It takes a special kind of movie art to make me get my wallet out. The movie posters that, without fail, have me falling over my feet to collect are the limited-run prints released by amazing companies such as MondoTees and Nakatomi Inc. By recruiting top-notch artists to illustrate original posters for cult films, MondoTees and their ilk have elevated the art of movie poster design.

One of the top artists to come from this recent trend is Tyler Stout, a man whose artwork makes up at least a fifth of my personal collection.

That collection grew by one more when Ain’t It Cool News unveiled the official poster for Best Worst Movie, a film that found its way into my Top 10 list last year and will see wide distribution later this Spring.

The poster, illustrated by Tyler Stout, comes in two different color schemes and both are available to order here.

Best Worst Movie is a highly recommended documentary about the making of Troll 2, a film that is considered by many to be one of the most entertaining bad movies ever made. The documentary itself is infinitely more entertaining, though, in it’s heartfelt and touching look at the cast and crew behind the 1990 horror film.
