Iggy Pop recently sat down with ABC News and talked about his playlist of musical inspirations. Iggy nostalgically recalled sitting in his Father’s Cadillac listening to Frank Sinatra’s “Young at Heart”, and spending time with his girlfriend listening to the Ronette’s “Be My Baby.” He also remembers the impact Nirvana and the late Kurt Cobain had on him: “Nirvana was a breath of fresh air. I thought ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ was an extremely powerful track.”

Iggy and the Stooges were finally inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last month, and will be releasing a Limited Deluxe Edition of their seminal 1973 album, Raw Power, on April 27th.
