Toby Jones, who kids may recognize as the voice of Dobby the House Elf in the Harry Potter films, is better known for playing real-life characters like Truman Capote (Infamous) and Karl Rove (W.). Now the actor is eyeing his first comic book movie with Marvel Studios’ Captain America.
With the casting of main baddie (Red Skull) is already set, Jones is in final negotiations to play villainous (okay, mad) scientist Arnim Zola.
In the comics, Zola was a genetic engineer who worked for Hitler, creating clones and other monstrous figures. He also captured his own mental self, inserting it into a robot, and survived the war.
The announcement comes a little more than a month after it was announced that Chris Evans (The Losers, Fantastic Four) would play the famed superhero. The cast also includes Sebastian Stan as the Captain’s sidekick Bucky Barnes, and Hayley Atwell as the hero’s love interest, Peggy Carter.
