Disc News: She's Out of My League arriving in Late June

News

There are many age old questions. Did Abraham Lincoln really go his whole life without telling a lie? When a tree falls in the forest and nobody’s around, does it make a sound? She’s Out of My League doesn’t attempt to answer either of those questions, but it does ask one that bears greater importance:

Can an average guy land a gorgeous babe?

If you missed the film when it played in theaters back in March, well you don’t have to wait long to see it on home video. Paramount Home Entertainment will bring the modest comedy to DVD (MSRP: $19.99), Blu-ray (MSRP: $29.99) and VOD beginning June 22, 2010.

On DVD the movie will be presented in widescreen enhanced for 16:9 TVs with Dolby Digital English 5.1 Surround, French 5.1 Surround and Spanish 5.1 Surround and English, French and Spanish subtitles. On Blu-ray the movie will be presented in 1080p high definition with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, French 5.1 Dolby Digital, Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital and Brazilian Portuguese 5.1 Dolby Digital and English, English SDH, French, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese subtitles.

Both releases will include deleted scenes, an extended ending, a blooper reel, commentary from director Jim Field Smith and the featurette “Devon’s Dating Show.”

Jay Baruchel (Knocked Up) is Kirk, a smart and sweet underachiever who can’t believe his luck when the successful and gorgeous Molly (Alice Eve, Sex and the City 2) falls for him. But now that Kirk’s got the girl, he has to contend with his own insecurities and the incessant barrage of ego-deflating “support” from his smart-ass friends (T.J. Miller, Mike Vogel and Mate Torrence), crazy family and obnoxious ex-girlfriend.

You can pre-order it today on DVD or Blu-ray through Amazon.com.
