Despite all the rumblings, the Big Ten has said they’re not close to voting on expansion.
At the confrence meetings, Commissioner Jim Delaney said the confrence has not sent out invitations, and would not vote on expansion at next months Presidents and Chancellors meeting.
In December the confrence announced a 12-18 month plan for expansion, many had thought the process has sped up, but Delaney said the confrence was still in the information gathering stage and that they are still sticking to the original timeline.
