Megan Fox Won't be Transforming Again

Casting News, News, Projects

In stunning news that will sadden many Megan Fox fans, THR has reported that starlet, Megan Fox, will not be returning to star in Transformers 3.

Paramount has not picked up her option for the third film, which began shooting this week in Los Angeles.

Regardless of the widely publicized drama between Fox and Michael Bay, it is very unusual, in Hollywood, to eliminate an actor or actress playing such a integral character so close to the beginning of production.

This decision is even more unusual since word got out that that Bay and writer Ehren Kruger had planned on creating a female nemesis for Fox’s character.

Apparently, Bay and co. now plan on taking the story “in another direction,” according to insiders, and a new love interest will be cast.

T3 has attracted some big talent including John Malkovich, Frances McDormand and Patrick Dempsey.

Fox will next be appearing in the Western Comic Book film, Jonah Hex along with Josh Brolin.

The Pulse: I thought the first film in the series was worthless and didn’t bother with part 2. Frankly, I don’t even know why they’re making a third film (besides the all mighty dollar that is…) The fact that Fox has been dropped from the franchise doesn’t phase me one way or the other. It’s still going to be a crappy film. How do you feel about this sudden change?

Also, it really seems like Fox has bitten the hand that feeds her. Do you think she has any career without Bay?
