Super Bowl Headed for New Jersey

News

The NFL has announce the 2014 Super Bowl will be played at the Meadowland in New Jersey.

This will be the first time in NFL history that the game will be played in a cold weather area that doesn’t have a dome.

I’m expecting that many players and media members will be upset at this; they are used to hitting the New Orleans and Tampas, where they can enjoy nice weather leading up to the game. I expect that they will not do this again after 2014.

Prior to this, only teams that had and average temperature of 50 degrees or a dome were allowed to bid on the Super Bowl; New York/Jersey’s bid was allowed on a one time exception to that rule.
