After being ejected late in the first half Wednesday night, Perkins faces the possibility of being suspended for game 6.
Perkins earned two technical fouls in a span of 2 minutes leading to his ejection. First he got tangled up with back-up center Marcin Gortat and landed an elbow to Gortat’s face, both players picked up technicals in the dust up.
With 36 seconds left in the half, Perkins committed a foul and protested the call and was T’ed up for the second time leading to the ejection.
The fouls were his 6th and 7th technical fouls of the postseason, so if both hold up to league review, Perkins will automatically be suspended for the next game.
