Hero Initiative Releases Steve Perry Interview

News

The Hero Initiative, who helped Stephen “Steve” Perry of Thunder Cats fame get back on his feet prior to his tragic death, has an interview online with Steve from earlier this year. In it, he talks about about the importance of the Hero Initiative, explains the struggles he went through, as well as shares stories about his first comic book. While I never met him, he certainly seemed approachable and likeable in the video. That only adds to the pain of knowing he is no longer with us and that his son is an orphan.

Although many of you may know what the Hero Initiative is, for those that do not, please note that:

The Hero Initiative creates a financial safety net for comic creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and an avenue back into paying work. Since inception, the Hero Initiative has been fortunate enough to benefit over 40 creators and their families with over $400,000 worth of much-needed aid, fueled by your contributions! It’s a chance for all of us to give back something to the people who have given us so much enjoyment.

No new details have been released by Police on the ongoing Steve Perry murder investigation.

Our thoughts and prayers remain with Steve Perry’s family and friends at this most difficult time.
