Geoff Johns nudging Dan Jurgens' Time Masters to 2011 Flash event?

In Comics Shop News #1200, Dan Jurgens is quoted as saying:

“…I’m working with several goals in mind here. First and foremost, tell an entertaining story that gives Rip [Hunter] more character depth. Second is to reflect and round out some of the stuff happening with the The Return of Bruce Wayne. And the third is to put a few pieces in place for Flashpoint, for which Geoff Johns is sculpting some incredibly fun stuff down the road!”

I’m glad Jurgens’ work is integral to the broader DCU and linking to major events. Tying to Bat and Flash events can only be a good thing. Hopefully, the setting up of Flashpoint is a more subtle feature of the Time Masters mini-series.
