The following news items were posted on the June 16th edition of the ROH Newswire:
ROH has made the following additions to this Saturday’s Death Before Dishonor VIII card, in Toronto:
– Tyson Dux has been announced as the last remaining participant in the Second Annual Toronto Gauntlet, joining Steve Corino, Colt Cabana, Roderick Strong, Eddie Edwards, and Shawn Daivari.
– The All-Night Express (Kenny King & Rhett Titus), managed by Austin Aries, will take on Cheech & Cloudy.
Both teams will be in action the previous night in Buffalo as well, as the All-Night Express takes on The Briscoe Brothers, and Cheech & Cloudy take on the Kings of Wrestling.
Tyson Dux is also competing in Buffalo, where he will take on Eddie Edwards in a “10-Minute Hunt”, pursuant to which he will receive an ROH Television Title shot at a future date if he can last at least 10 minutes in the ring with Edwards.
The following wrestlers have been signed for the next set of HDNet tapings on July 16th and 17th in Philadelphia: Tyler Black, Chris Hero, Claudio Castagnoli, Christopher Daniels, Delirious, Daizee Haze, Jerry Lynn, Austin Aries, and Cheech & Cloudy. More names and match announcements to come.
A couple of ROH’ers gave interviews this week. ROH on HDNet Producer Dave Lagana sat down with Brian Fitz of Fanhouse.com to discuss the television product, iPPV’s, and more. Also, Colt Cabana gave the Miami Herald an interview.
ROH has been in contact “with two supreme talents that have, at one time or another, been recognized among the World’s best” (gee, I wonder if one is that Daniel Bryan fella). More on this as it develops.
The following wrestlers have been added to the Collinsville and Chicago Ridge shows on July 23rd and 24th respectively, thus rounding out the talent roster for those shows: El Generico, Kenny King, “Skullkrusher” Rasche Brown, Sara del Rey, Grizzly Redwood, Delirious, and Daizee Haze.
