The re-alignment shuffle continues.
State Reps. Garnet Coleman and Bill Callegari, both from the Houston area, co-wrote a letter Thursday asking Big 12 officials to consider adding the university to the conference.
The letter mentions Houston as the third largest university in the state and one of the top research universities in the state.
The confrence has said it doesn’t plan on adding any more schools from the 5 states currently in the confrence.
