International Trailer for Nimrod Antal's Predators

News, Trailers

When Laurence Fishburne proclaims that he’s the one you don’t “f*ck with” that’s all you really need to know. After all, his character’s name in Boyz n the Hood was named Furious. But he also played Cowboy Curtis on Pee-Wee’s Playhouse – so maybe there’s some hidden animosity there. IGN has debuted a new international trailer for Nimrod Antal’s Predators, which is produced by Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, El Mariachi). We’ve shown you the lone theatrical trailer and a TV spot. But theatrical trailers for Predators has been sparse. This latest one has some adult language and violence and a majority of the characters are presented. Though, I’m still waiting to see how Topher Grace is incorporated into the movie. Watch it and let us know if you are anticipating the release of Predators.

Predators is directed by Nimród Antal, who previously helmed Kontroll, Vacancy, and Armored (also featuring Laurence Fishburne). The screenplay is based on an early draft written eons ago by Robert Rodriguez, but was then fleshed out by newcomers Michael Finch and Alex Litvak. We’re still in the dark about the plot, but it seems simple enough. Bad-ass warriors from all walks of life are mysteriously dumped on a planet and have to kill a bunch of predators. That all you really need to know. 20th Century Fox will release Predators in theaters on July 7, 2010.
