Sharktopus Trailer Arrives To Rule Us All

News, Trailers

There are few things I’m looking forward to more this year than watching Sharktopus, the upcoming Roger Corman produced creature feature for the SyFy Channel.

Besides being two tons of awesome wrapped up in a crunchy kick-ass taco shell, the film promises to finally answer that immortal question that has plagued humanity since we first crawled out of the primordial ooze — how scary would it be if a shark and an octopus had a giant, man-eating baby?

While Sharktopus won’t have any Breaking Dawn-esque scenes of an octopus giving birth to the unholy spawn of its love affair with a shark, there will be genetic tampering and Eric Roberts. Created as the Navy’s ultimate weapon, Sharktopus turns rogue and begins a blood-soaked trail of terror through the seven seas. Plus it can apparently propel itself into the air like some kind of Megashark.

There is no set release date for this film yet but if you are anything like me you’re keeping your calendar empty for the rest of the year just in case. And now, without further adieu, here’s Sharktopus:
