Amir Khan To Fight In December; Ricky Hatton Possible For Future

In an interview with BBC Radio Manchester, Amir Khan said he wants to fight again in December in his home country of the United Kingdom.

Khan mentioned Juan Manuel Marquez, Victor Ortiz, and Marcos Maidana all as potential opponents for his December bout. Zab Judah was also mentioned as a future opponent.

Khan did not rule out the possibility of an all-England superfight against Ricky Hatton. While Khan thinks the fight would be big business, Ricky Hatton still hasn’t shown a desire to return to the ring after his 2009 KO loss to Manny Pacquiao. By all accounts, Ricky Hatton is nowhere near ring-shape, flirting more in the vicinity of pear-shape. Any Khan-Hatton fight would not be in the immediate future of either boxing star.
