*ahem*
Young Mystique that is. Not terribly interesting casting news, but every little bit helps us piece together what the hell might actually be going with this movie. For those not keeping up here’s who we’ve got so far:
Michael Fassbender as Magneto
Alice Eve as Emma Frost
James McAvoy as Professor Charles Xavier
Nicholas Hoult as Beast
Kevin Bacon as Sebastian Shaw
Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique
Lucas Till as Havok
Edi Gathegi as Darwin
Caleb Landry Jones as Banshee
Jason Flemyng as Azazel
What I’m wonder is: When are they going to cast Cyclops, Jean Grey and…well at this point I’m not even sure it’s safe to assume we’ll Angel and Iceman. Still, I find the lack of casting for such important characters kind of curious given that Nicholas Hoult’s already started training for the film. I imagine his role as Beast could be a little more intense physically than everyone else’s but still, very curious.
