Spoiler Warnings: Which Guardian Of The Galaxy Dies In Thanos Imperative #4 By Dan Abnett And Andy Lanning?

News, Spoilers

As the designated killer of Thanos, the Avatar of Death, Drax himself is an Avatar of Life. So this means that while in the Cancerverse, where there is nothing but life, he’s sort of in overdrive. This means that while in their universe he may be able to stave off his lust for slaughtering Thanos, in the Cancerverse he can’t do anything but try and kill him. Seeing this as an issue, Thanos kills him in a pretty awesome display.

Unfortunately, killing an Avatar of Life in the Cancerverse is like shooting off a giant flare, and that’s all it takes to bring in Mar-Vell’s Revengers.
