Prowrestling.net reports that recently-released WWE Diva Serena Deeb made a surprise appearance at yesterday’s SHIMMER show, defeating Kelly Skater.
At Ring of Honor’s Glory By Honor IX event in New York City, former WWE wrestlers in action included Kenny King, who beat Jay Briscoe; Balls Mahoney, who lost in a tag match; Colt Cabana (Scotty Goldman); who won a tag match, Daivari, who lost his TV Title challenge vs. Eddie Edwards; and the World’s Greatest Tag Team Charlie Haas & Shelton Benjamin lost to Chris Hero & Claudio Castagnoli in a tag title match. Meanwhile this weekend, WWE’s Daniel Bryan wrestled with EVOLVE – a promotion he actually named – as “Bryan Danielson” and beat Munenori Sawa with the LeBell Lock, according to PWInsider.com. Also yesterday, Bryan wrestled with Mikey Whipwreck’s NYWC promotion, teaming with “Maverick†Tony Nese to beat “The Greek God†Dimitrios Papadon & “Yours Truly†Alex Reynolds, according to OnlineWorldofWrestling.com.
