Toy Story Trilogy Box Set Coming in November

Disc Announcements, News

We’ve all been friends with Rex, Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Hamm, RC, and a host of other toys that aren’t supposed to let Andy know they can virtually do as they please. Most of us have brought them into our homes by way of toys, plates, cups, clothing, and of course the movies.

As a postscript to the announcement of Toy Story 3‘s impending release on home video, it looks like the studio that Mickey Mouse built is giving fans of the Pixar trilogy a toy box of fun this holiday season.

The Toy Story Trilogy is going to be available for us all to take home on November 2 and let me just tell you this…it’s 10 discs big. This is the same exact day that Toy Story 3 will be released on both DVD and Blu-ray.

Here is what the boxed set will include:

  • All three films (Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3) on DVD, Blu-ray, and Disney Digital Copy
  • Each version of each film will have its own disc meaning that each film will incorporate three discs. No word if these discs will include the normal special features that have been included with the previous releases or if they’ll all just be clumped together on that tenth disc. Or perhaps the tenth disc could be nothing but new extras and featurettes.
  • The suggested retail price on Amazon is $100.00 but the pre-order is available for $65.99. That’s not bad for this whole set and that’s not even mentioning the awesome packaging for it which can be seen below.
