Rainey was arrested, but the victim doesn’t want to press charges.
Rainey was reportedly dating the girl on and off for three years. On Monday the two reportedly talked at her house and after she told him to leave, he reportedly sent her a text that said “time to die.” The girl then called police and Rainey was arrested.
The girl said she’s not afraid of Rainey and doesn’t expect him to harm her in any way.
“I did not want to have him arrested,” she said. “When the police came, I signed papers to not press any charges. I don’t fear for my safety. … People all over the country have been calling my cell phone. I’m not afraid of him. I’m more afraid of all the repercussions.”
