Project Comicon Comes To St. Louis – September 19, 20 2010

News, Press Releases

If you’re like me, you probably wonder from time to time why Saint Louis doesn’t have a major comic book convention, like so many other cities: San Diego, Baltimore, New York, Pittsburgh, Austin, Atlanta, & Chicago (which has 2!) to name a few. And if you’re an avid fan, and determined to get to at least one convention a year, you may be tired of making the long trek to one of these cities.

Well, if the above describes you even in the slightest, you’ll be happy to learn that Saint Louis has finally gotten the convention it deserves. This year, this weekend actually: Saturday, September 18th & Sunday, September 19th, Project Comicon comes to Saint Louis.

With a lineup consisting of comic greats Andy Kubert, Ethan Van Sciver, Gail Simone, & Howard Chaykin, to name but a few, as well as local favorites Brian Hurtt & Cullen Bunn (creators of Oni Press’ hugely successful The 6th Gun series), Project Comicon  promises to impress. And whether you’re a convention aficionado or a first timer, wanting to see what all the fuss is about, this show will have something for everyone and be entertaining for fans of all ages.
