Sarah Silverman has never been one to to shy away from controversy or uncomfortable situations. From her raunchy stand-up comedy act to her ever so-slightly less raunchy television show The Sarah Silverman Program, the comedian has always enjoyed balancing her sex appeal with her potty mouth. Now it appears Silverman will take this practice one step forward.
Silverman is co-staring in Sarah Polly’s upcoming film Take This Waltz. In the film, for the first time in Silverman’s career, she will appear fully naked. Full-frontal nudity to be exact. Somebody page Mr. Skin.
In an interview with Moviefone, Silverman talked about the film and the scene in question.
“I go totally naked,” she said. “Full frontal. It’s going to be awful. It’s so not pretty.”
Take This Waltz is a dramedy about a young woman (played by Michelle Williams) who realizes she’s addicted to the honeymoon period of her relationship after she finds herself cheating on her husband. Seth Rogen stars alongside Williams as her spouse and Silverman plays Rogen’s sister.
Take This Waltz is the second film directed by actress Sarah Polly (Dawn of the Dead, Go). She previously won critical acclaim for the film Away from Her.
