The Kings of Wrestling will defend the ROH World Tag Team Titles on October 15th in Dayton, OH against Christopher Daniels and Davey Richards. Click here to read the press release.
As was previously reported, Richards and Daniels will face each other the following night in Chicago Ridge, IL. Kevin Kelly has posted an article on that match, which can be read here.
In Dayton and Chicago Ridge, ROH is introducing a new concept called the “ROH Trial Series”, where a young wrestler will have 5 matches over a 3-month period against “established Ring of Honor Wrestlers.” The name of the young wrestler selected to debut this concept has yet to be revealed.
The Briscoe Brothers have also been confirmed for Dayton and Chicago Ridge.
Some form of match between Colt Cabana and Steve Corino, aimed at ending the war “once and for all” is expected to be signed for Chicago Ridge.
Homicide will be in action at the October 1st-2nd set of ROH on HDNet tapings in Philadelphia. Click here to read the press release. Also confirmed for Philly are the following: Eddie Edwards, The All-Night Express (Kenny King & Rhett Titus), The Embassy (Necro Butcher, Erick Stevens, Shawn Daivari, Prince Nana), Daizee Haze, Sara del Rey, Kevin Steen, and El Generico. Matches for the tapings are expected to be announced within the next few days.
