Anthony wants out of Denver and Denver wants it done before the season starts.
ESPN.com is reporting the Nuggets are working on a trade that would send Carmelo Anthony to the New Jersey Nets. The deal would also reportedly include the Utah Jazz and Charlotte Bobcats.
The trade would reportedly send Derrick Favors and Andrei Kirilenko to the Nuggets, Anthony to the Nets, Devin Harris to the Charlotte Bobcats, and Boris Diaw to the Utah Jazz.
The deal is not finalized yet, one potential hang-up is Anthony’s willingness to sign an extension with the Nets the same way Kevin Garnett did before being traded to the Boston Celtics.
