ROH has announced two more matches for the October 1st-2nd set of ROH on HDNet tapings. On Saturday, ROH World Champion Roderick Strong will take on Austin Aries in a non-title match. Click here to read the press release.
The night before, ROH will feature the first ever eight-man “Holiday Gauntlet”. Eight men will be selected at random out of a group of the top 16 ROH wrestlers on the roster. These 8 wrestlers will then draw their number of entry at random and 2 men will begin the match. When one man is eliminated, he will be replaced by another until there is only one wrestler standing. That last man will be declared the winner and receive the $10,000 Christmas Bonus. The 16 men being placed into the drawing are the following:

As has become tradition, ROH will run two shows in Atlanta on Wrestlemania Weekend. The shows will take place at the Center Stage Theatre on 1374 W. Peachtree St. NW. Friday’s belltime is 8 PM, and Saturday’s is 1 PM. Tickets go on sale this Wednesday (September 29th) at noon EST. Click here to read the press release.
ROH has announced the following matches and appearances for the October 15th-16th weekend.
Friday, October 15th, Dayton, OH:
– Homicide will be in action. His opponent will be announced on Wednesday at ROH’s website.
– Daizee Haze will be in action.
– Adam Cole & Kyle O’Reilly vs. Kevin Steen & Steve Corino
Saturday, October 16th, Chicago Ridge, IL:
– Kevin Steen vs. Homicide
– Colt Cabana vs. Steve Corino (stipulation to be named later)
– Daizee Haze will be in action
“Survival of the Fittest 2010” will take place this year on November 12th at the The Ford Community & Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, MI. There will be six qualifying matches. The six winners will compete in an elimination match to determine the 2010 Survival of the Fittest winner. More information will be reported as it becomes available.
